Truth is the only constant.

Freedom isn't free; the truth costs.

Truth is not just a value, it's a function. Like gravity or math, it holds everything together. Remove it from physical systems, you get collapse. Remove it from social systems, you get corruption.
Without truth, coherence degrades. Without coherence, reality fragments.
In CCC, structure is the symbolic backbone of any system. Truth is what allows symbolic compression to remain stable across frames. In biological systems, it's the genetic fidelity of replication. In culture, it is narrative alignment. When symbolic representation drifts too far from actual structure, collapse follows.
Truth strips illusion, it forces alignment between what is felt and what is real. This makes it dangerous to those who benefit from delusion. That is why truth has always cost something.
But what you gain is clarity, precision, and sovereignty.
Social systems rely on shared fictions. Truth disrupts fragile consensus. If you speak what is real, others may exile you to protect their illusions, yet every prophet, whistleblower, or paradigm-shifter paid that price. Consciousness deepens through sacrifice.
